Picking Up Where We Left Off!

Things have been quiet around here since my last personal update. As I mentioned in that post, I was gearing up to return to full-time work and I did so, 4 months ago! Time flies, and I’ve been really enjoying my new role.

About a month after starting, we moved to a new flat. It’s really lovely, located in central Worthing. Around that time I also ordered a new desk from Made.com. It was meant to be delivered before Christmas but has now been delayed to mid-January. So I’ve been working from a small £25 Argos desk since we moved!

World’s smallest desk

Unfortunately, the adjustment to big life changes, and the lack of desire to spend more than 8 hours per day at my tiny desk, has meant that this blog has taken a bit of a backseat. I’d initially planned to pick it back up once I’d settled into my new home office but, with delays at the border ever increasing, I’m not sure when, or if, my desk will ever arrive, so I’m trying to make the best of it.

I have a few timely posts in the pipeline, including a look at my 2021 planners (one of the photos from my 2020 post is my most liked photo of the year on Instagram), and a reflection on 2020. I’m also hoping to update my GoodNotes bullet journal post, which was my most popular post this year by far!

I’m also working on a post about UI/UX design portfolios with some of my tips. And– fingers crossed– I will eventually finish decorating my home office and put up a little tour.

I might even set a goal to set aside some time each week for writing more posts. But don’t get too excited since I’m sure I’ve said that before!

Enjoy the rest of your 2020, and I will post again soon!
