New Design Packages!

I very rarely use this blog to promote the business side of Pretty Content, but I’ve just had the biggest overhaul of my packages (and pricing) since starting so I thought why not – it is my blog after all!

For the past year or so, I’ve been working on a basis that can probably be best described as “you want it, I’ll do it.” However, as many of you know, Pretty Content is my passion project that I do alongside a full-time job. I take on projects, largely, as a creative outlet to contrast my more serious UX day job. And I came to realise that, no, I don’t want to spend my evenings and weekends doing bug fixes for an hourly rate! I want to work on projects that fuel that creativity and allow me to work with talented creatives and design-driven brands.

So, I have refined my offerings to reflect this. Instead of every service under the sun, I have focused on offering the types of projects that I love to do and feel passionate about – branding and websites.

Now, on my menu of design services, you will find:

More Than a Just Pretty Face

A comprehensive branding package that covers everything from discovery to strategy to identity. We’ll work together to (re)define your brand, explore your user’s needs, establish the tone and vibe that you want to portray, and wrap it up with a visual identity to express your brand values to the world.

A Pretty [Insert Adjective Here] Website

I’m now offering 3 levels of website packages. There’s a Pretty Great Website, a small package perfect for brands that are just starting out, or that require a more streamlined, minimalist online presence. Then we have a Pretty Amazing Website, which is designed for a typical service-based business or brand, especially those ready to LEVEL UP. Finally, we have a Pretty Fabulous Website which is the biggest à la carte offering – this package can encompass e-commerce websites and has a few other special perks.

Your Heart’s Content bundle

Finally, I offer a bundle consisting of both the More Than Just a Pretty Face branding package and a Pretty Website package of your choice, lovingly named the Your Heart’s Content bundle. This is perfect for those looking to really establish their brand with a cohesive look, feel and online presence across multiple platforms.

TL;DR: You save £350 by choosing this option. That’s 90 grande Starbucks drinks.

Content is Queen

Since I also firmly believe that a website and brand need good solid content to perform well, I have added a content design aspect to each website package level. Depending on the level purchased, this ranges from a review of your content, to helping you edit the content, to helping you write your content from scratch!

I have worked as a copywriter throughout many of my years as a designer, and have proven experience in writing results-driven copy designed to convert, and user-friendly content to improve the impact of your website and increase usability for your users.

Which website platform?

For the Pretty Great and Pretty Amazing website packages, I am offering the choice of WordPress or Squarespace as the platform, depending on the best fit for you.

For the Pretty Fabulous website, I’ve also added the option for Shopify. Equally, if you have a shop that you want to build on WordPress or Squarespace, it will fall into this category. A great entry-level option for small to mid-sized e-commmerce brands!
